InnoPécs International 2019 – Digital Manufacturing

On 25th of April, 2019. Innomine participated at InnoPécs conference. The event was created to concentrate all the innovative solutions, ideas, companies to one place in Pécs, Hungary.

The event was organized by the Information Management Innovation Cluster (headed by Dr Ferenc Brachmann) and Input Program. The program of the event involved showcases of great innovators from the region, a job fair and presentations of successful startups about their stories. The goal of the event was to open doors to regional and international participants to share ideas, find new opportunities and connect with key decision makers. The international audience included leading stakeholders from both sides of the border, along with startuppers and leaders of University of Osijek.

innomine CEO, Gábor Vicze talked about digital manufacturing and presented how innomine can provide technology and funding to increase efficiency of regional companies. His presentation started with the current status of the Hungarian manufacturing companies: what are the challenges for them, followed by the global trends and recommendations. He emphasized that Hungarian companies needs highly customized solutions instead of simply adapting global practices. innomine suggests a complex approach: provide technology and removing risks by using EU funds. With regards the technology he highlighted that most relevant improvement opportunities for manufacturing companies lie in optimizing the manufacturing process and production planning. innoine presented a technology, which is able to assess and simulate all major workplace configuration and order quantity and calculate the related time-cost results.

Gábor presented funding options as well, these were CloudiFactoring Open Call and Blockchers. The mission of CloudiFacturing is to optimize production processes and producibility using Cloud/HPC-based modeling and simulation, leveraging online factory data and advanced data analytics, thus contributing to the competitiveness and resource efficiency of manufacturing SMEs, ultimately fostering the vision of Factories 4.0 and the circular economy.

CloudiFacturing Open Call will be available from July 2019 and will provide up to €100k non-refundable funding plus technology and business support for technology and manufacturing companies.

Blockchers is created to support the usage of blockchain/DLT technologies in Europe by fostering companies with great ideas. It offers up to €50,000 equity-free funding per use case, free access and support to Alastria DLT infrastructure, coaching from top innovation management firms in Europe, free access to a certificate programme by the Frankfurt School Blockchain Centerand match-making with investors to secure follow-up rounds. Blockchers Open Call is available now, the application is free!
